Roger Tsabetsaye, 1941-1999, was a master jeweler who began making jewelry in 1962. He studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York on a Scholarship that recognized art students with the most promise. Roger is also an accomplished painter and respected tribal leader. One of Roger’s teachers was renowned jeweler Charles Loloma. Roger’s sister, Edith Tsaybetsaye, is known around the world for her amazing Zuni needlepoint jewelry.
