A rare and beautiful gourd container, the natural form re purposed for carrying liquids, its surface covered in decorative and complex hatch- crossing broad sections of woven sennit. These decorative weaves encircle the near spherical body of the hollowed gourd, which also has a natural spout like opening on its top. A true masterpiece of form and function. Early illegible label present.
